The Training Day Mission
My Mission is Simple for a Training Day--We're going to Train! and you're going to have the best day for learning things "Pool" of your entire life.
At Training Day we're not only going to go over Fundamentals for those who need that, but we're going to focus on what I call "The Executables".
I'm making a list of things everyone wants to learn to "execute" and we'll work on them a few separate times in the course of the day "so you don't get burned out it" and you have time to review in your mind what you were doing wrong so you can adjust and then learn to execute better before you go home. We're covering Fundamentals and Advanced Executables. Aiming, Banking, Side Spin-All types, Kicking, Pass Banking, Carom Management and Position work, Speed and Stroke Control.
I've written cutting edge material that covers the most important parts of the Game. Aiming, Side Spin, Banking and Speed and Stroke Control and when you're tackling that much of the game its hard to learn it all so I lay it out in Progressive Fashion so its easier learned...... and that is what Training Day is for.
It's also affordable Coaching. Not many people need a lesson once a week or two weeks, but they do need some guidance from time to time and this is a way to get together with like minded people and work on your game. It's not a tournament, its a workshop. You'll meet friends who are interested in the same things you are and have a nice atmosphere to enjoy while we work on skills.
Everyone will get what they came for and need for their game. There's no gambling, no pressure just good times with Pool.
You'll email me if you're interested at [email protected] with your phone number and I'll call you at a convenient time and I'll ask you some questions to help me make training day better for you and we'll discuss the costs which right now looks to be very affordable but I have to contact the rooms to see what they are going to charge for the space to give you that final number.
I'm trying to get it so that you and I both can afford to attend which is one reason we do it for 1 big day to start with. It's going to be a great deal and we may work things out for guest appearances or specific clinics such as 8-ball, 9-ball and One Pocket from time to time.
You may be able to wait until we have a Training Day in your area or you can attend one that you travel to in mine. It's a special event. What we cover is what all players need that we'll discuss ahead of time. We're going to cover all core skills and fundamentals and special need to learn to execute situations. My training day is a way to touch on anything that is holding you back while working on Advanced Skills.
I like to instruct Pool in my style and this is my style. Each person who writes books and learns to play well brings some unique perspectives to learning the game. " This is due to the fact that Authors are Specialists in what it takes and how to learn."
I'm also a Certified PBIA Instructor. I've been to Pool Schools and I intend to offer my students the latest on learning and more improvement for them personally without skipping out on fundamental strengths they need to develop. No one else has a copyrighted Speed and Stroke Control Curriculum, their own Aiming Technique or teaches Side Spin and Banking from their own "original not available anywhere else material."
I've also taken over 14 yrs to get all of this together the way it really is so that it's describable without making it over complicated. If I see you struggling chances are that I'll know the questions you need to ask but haven't figured out yet how to ask. I'll talk to you about it and we'll arrive at the best way for you to understand what you should do. It's going to be hard not to improve with less questions between you and the skill set.
You'll be working at a table all your own and there is no pressure and there is no gambling.
My curriculum will be "Structured " so that the people in attendance will take elevated skill sets home with them that they can perform and perfect. I'll spend enough time on each area with you so you'll get what I'm teaching. My job is to organize and supervise you so I know you can learn to execute.
Give me a chance to work with you the way I'd like to see your game progress and you'll be very happy.
As we go we'll be working on your fundamentals around your newly found skill. I will put you through a skill level test so I can see where you're at but it will be short and sweet and I'll record it and file a copy of it under your name in my database so we both can see your improvement.
You'll improve during the school and gain confidence or your money minus expenses will be refunded to you. After the skill level test I hold brief & private interview with each player to go over what I see in their test. All of us are there to have fun and learn how to improve and that is what I specialize in.
It starts with an email to my email at [email protected] You can copy and paste the address to your email system.
Then I'll arrange a time with you for the interview where we will cover several things including the price and content of the class.
When the training day is over, its not completely over. We're going to play and train into the night and all night if that suits you. You're going to get more activity over the table learning than any school has ever given. When I send you home you'll be fulfilled, know how to be a better player and you'll need some rest. If you love Pool like I do I'm going to make sure that you're as excited about playing as I am and my goal is to send you home that way so you'll want to come back to more of my training days.
I'm light on your wallet, teach things others don't or can't and don't overload you with things you can never learn. I give you several different things that we rotate around in practice and come back to them so you have time to collect yourself on them and improve each time you cue them up.
If you have any questions you can text me first please. I'm Robin Kelly 336-466-0683
